Lead researchers:
Suzanne Mills, McMaster University (smills@mcmaster.ca)
Martha Dowsley, Lakehead University (mdowsley@lakeheadu.ca)
Emilie Cameron, Carleton University (Emilie.Cameron@carleton.ca)

This analysis will focus on the topic of gender, which has been a neglected category of research analysis dealing with northern Aboriginal communities and resource development. Research questions fall into three identified themes: economy, governance, and socio-cultural impacts. Linkages are expected to be drawn between these research questions and so, this analysis cuts across the themes in northern resource development.
